Wolfe Tones GAC will hold a sponsored walk, in aid of the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust (KBRT), on Saturday 25th June at 11am from Belfast Castle to McArt’s Fort atop Cavehill.
KBRT, established in 2013, aims to relieve the immediate financial burdens placed upon families when a loved one dies suddenly or tragically overseas and to date has assisted in over 1,000 repatriations.
Our men’s senior team have worn the logo of the KBRT on their change jerseys for over a year, and now that we have emerged from Covid-19 restrictions, we are in a position to undertake large group activities.
Members are encouraged to take part in the walk and can sign up to do so by clicking the link here.
We’re aiming to raise £3,200 to support the vital work that KBRT does. A JustGiving Page has been set up at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/wolfe-tones-kbrt and physical sponsorship forms will be available at juvenile training from Sunday at 11am.
