Volunteers sought for Cúl Camp

The GAA, in partnership with Kellogg, has today launched the 2021 Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps, offering children a healthy, fun and safe summer outdoor activity. Starting on 28th June and running up to 27th August, the 2021 Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps will run in line with government guidelines and subject to the advice of the relevant authorities. The successful health and safety measures from last year will be implemented again and built on for the 2021 camps.

Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps ambassador and Mayo footballer Cillian O’Connor, left, Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps ambassador and singer Sinead O’Carroll, with brothers Paddy, age 13, and Tom Nolan, age 10, of St Brigids GAA Club in Castleknock, Dublin, and Adriana Fayiah, centre, at the launch of the 2021 Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps, in Croke Park, Dublin, as Kellogg celebrates the 10th year of the sponsorship.

Wolfe Tones GAC will be running our first ever Cúl Camp from Monday 9th August and we currently require volunteers to make this happen. If you’re interested in volunteering contact Stephen McCourt or Email Chairperson.WolfeTones.Antrim@gaa.ie

Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps provide primary school boys and girls – between the ages of 6 and 13 – with an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity during the summer holidays which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games.

Activities are player-centred with a Games Based approach and a strong emphasis on personal development and well-being. Activities are also organised in an age-appropriate manner with a view to:

 – Optimising learning
 – Enhancing friendships
 – Improving physical & psychological wellbeing
 – Promote school and club links
