Wolfe Tones Senior Men’s Manager Gavin Cumiskey has informed the Executive Committee of his intention to step down from his role as Senior Men’s Manager for the 2023 season due to positive life changes.
Wolfe Tones would like to put on record its sincere gratitude for Gavin’s contribution over the last few years and specifically highlight the incredible job he done as Manager in the 2022 season. Some of the performances were across league and championship were incredible and showcased huge progress for a team that was only beginning to cut its teeth at All County Level.
Gavin, coming from one of the greatest dressing rooms in Gaelic football history, passed that standard to our men’s team and the club learned a great deal from his involvement – getting insights into how top-level units conduct their business.
We are sending the very best wishes to Gavin and Lynette on their wedding this year and when things settle down, we hope to see Gavin back at the coalface.
